We offer a Maintenance Plan for All Brands of Heating and Cooling Systems.
Merritt Heating & Air Conditioning offers a Preventative Maintenance Plan for any brand and any size, even if we didn't install it.  We will perform two maintenance tune-ups per year on your equipment at intervals of approximately six months.

The Preventative Maintenance Plan includes the following:

•  Inspect wiring and electrical connections.
•  Clean condensate drain pan and line and treat with algaecide.
•  Test safety controls.
•  Check condenser coil and clean if necessary.
•  Lubricate moving parts where applicable.
•  Check refrigerant level and adjust as necessary.
•  Check refrigerant lines for abrasion.
•  Measure evaporator temperature differential.
•  Check for external corrosion.
•  Test unit in all operating modes.
•  Test power consumption to analyze efficiency.
•  Check and adjust thermostat calibrations.
•  Check electrical controls.

Any repairs found necessary during these tune-ups or any emergency service performed will be done with NO CHARGE FOR LABOR (except on holidays or weekends: a flat $25 charge will apply). Additionally, as a Maintenance Agreement Customer, you will be given priority for emergency service over non-agreement customers.

In the event that your unit would need to be replaced while covered by the plan, the amount of the plan will be deducted from the purchase of a new unit from Merritt Heating and Air.
